In a statement issued by Doda Police, it was told that District Police Doda carried out a plantation drive in collaboration with Forest Department today on 28th of July-2022 at District Police Lines Doda. This initiative was taken by Doda Police under Green JK Drive-2022-23.
On this occasion, SSP Doda Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS briefed the Officers and Jawans about the main objective of the plantation drive which includes promoting aforestation and greenery to bring eco-friendly environment.
Among other officers, Sh. Raj Kumar, Addl. SP Ops Doda, Sh. Jaswant Singh, Dy.SP Hqrs Doda, Sh. Shoket Ali, Dy.SP DAR Doda, Sh. Romesh Kumar Councillor MC Doda, Range Officer Sh. Haroon Khan and other Officers of Forest Department were present who also planted saplings on this occasion.
