In Assam, the flood situation has improved as floodwaters have receded in most of the affected areas.

▪️More than 37,000 people are currently taking shelter in 109 relief camps set up across the worst-affected districts of Sivasagar, Golaghat, Jorhat and Charaideo. Sivasagar alone has 66 relief camps housing over 30,000 people.
