Bhaderwah:-The annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Abu Zafar Sakinder Ali Shah Qadri (RA) was celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety in Masjid Mohalla Bhaderwah where hundreds of people from Bhaderwah and it’s adjoining areas participated to take blessings of great sufi saint.
Pilgrims paid homage to Hazrat Syed Abu Zafar Sakinder Ali Shah Qadri (RA) (also known as Baba Gandar Sahib) on his annual Urs, where special prayers were also organised by the management committee.
The shrine is popular for granting the boons to its devotees. Devotees that get their boons granted, revisit this shrine, to make grateful offering in honour to the great saint.
The Annual Urs started with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran followed by Naat Sharief, Mankabat, Darood-o-Salwaat, Khatmaat-o-Mozuwaat and Dars-e-Quraan.
People from all walks of life paid rich tributes to the saint for his meritorious services for the welfare of humanity and promotion of Islamic teachings in the area.
On the occasion special prayer was also held for Communal Harmony, Brotherhood and oneness for the people of Chenab valley in particular and for the nation in general.
Those who were present Haji Mohd Shafi Beg, Nazir Ahmed Zarger, Syed Mohd Shafi Peer, Basharat Ahmed Zarger, Ghulam Rasool Ganai, Mohd Sharief Mir, Mohd Aslam, Mohd Ayoub Peer and others.
