Notorious bovine smuggler of Bhaderwah detained under PSA by the order of DM Doda,on the dossier prepared by District Police Doda.

Doda Police said that a notorious bovine smuggler namely Yasir Hussain son of Reham Ali resident of Behani Sheriki A/P village Runta Tehsil Bhaderwah has been detained under PSA for his involvement in a number of bovine smuggling cases registered against him at Police Station Bhaderwah. The subject was a repeated offender of bovine smuggling and on the dossier prepared by District Police Doda he was detained under PSA by the order of detention under PSA issued by DM Doda being the activities of the subject prejudicial to the public order and he was lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah.
It is to mention here that Doda Police has launched a special drive against the bovine smugglers and this year (07) cases of bovine smuggling have been registered in which (11) persons have been arrested, (02) vehicles involved in transportation of bovine have been seized and (27) bovine animals have been rescued.
Doda Police has sought cooperation from the general public so that the bovine smuggling which is a serious issue and has potential to create law and order is rooted out. Doda Police has also warned the smugglers to desist from smuggling of bovine else stringent action as warranted under law shall be taken against them which includes detention under PSA and attachment of property of habitual offenders of bovine smuggling.
