Bhadarwah:- Like many parts of the country, 811th Urs of Hazrat Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Chisti (RA) of Ajmer Sharif (Known as Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz) was also celebrated at Bhadarwah and Kishtwar areas of Chenab Valley with great enthusiasm and religious fervour.
Large number of people participated in special prayers organised by Shah family of Bunastan Kishtwar under the chairmanship of President Anjuman Tablig-ul-Islam Jammu province Haji Fareed Ahmed Shah.

Meanwhile Dar Family of Bhadarwah under the supervision of Khawaja Jamal Din Dar also organized special prayers at Kotli area of Bhadarwah, on the auspicious occasion of 811th Urs of Hazrat Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Chishti.
It is notable that people of Jammu and Kashmir especially of Chenab Valley have faith and are among the followers of Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Chisti. Every year hundreds of people visit Shrine of Gareeb Nawaz at Ajmer.

While speaking on the occasion, Haji Fareed Ahmed Shah threw light on the life of Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Chisti (RA) who during his life time preached and enlightened the people with knowledge of peace, prosperity and brotherhood.
In the year 1970, Shah family unanimously decided to held the Urs at Kishtwar every year since then likewise they use to celebrate the annual Urs of Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz, in which people from all strata of life without their religious affiliation participated in the Urs organized at Kishtwar. Dar family of Bhadarwah also celebrating the Urs of Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz in Bhadarwah since 2005.
President Anjuman Tablig-ul-Islam Jammu province Haji Fareed Ahmed Shah said that among others his family are the great followers of the Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz. He said that the history is the testimony to the preachings of Khawaja Gareeb Nawaz.

Khwaja Jamal Din Dar of Bhadarwah said that Khawaja ji had migrated from Saudi Arabia to India with only aim to teach and impart the religious education to the poor and downtrodden and enlightened them with knowledge to understand the meaning of life given to him by God and its importance.
Beside recitation of Quraan, Hadith and Naat Shareef, special prayers were also held for the peace, Communal Harmony and brotherhood in the JKUT as well as country. Tabrukaat were served to all people at Kishtwar and Bhadarwah.
Liaquat Ali Shah, Sajad Hussain Shah, Haji Neyaz Ahmed Dev, Noor Hussain Malik, Dr Mansoor Ahmed Qazi, Asgar Malik, Qari Manzoor Ahmed, Mohd Aslam Shah, Khursheed Kichloo, Molvi Irfan, Ghulam Qadir Dev, Abdul latief Bagwan, Peer Naseer Ahmed ,Haji Basheer Ahmed Shah, Fareed Ahmed Wani, Israr Ahmed, Faizan Ahmed, Fareed Ahmed Manva, Shazia Wani, Saleema Akhter, Shaheena Begum and all members of Shah and Dar family participated in special prayers.
