IASR awards fellowship to KVK Bhadarwah scientist Dr G.N. Jha

Bhadarwah: Dr. Ghanshyam N Jha, Scientist (SS) -Fisheries of Krishi Vigyan Kendra-Bhaderwah of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu received prestigious Fellowship award of International Academy of Science and Research (IASR), Kolkata during two days National Conference entitled “Biodiveristy, Climate Change & Food Security for Livelihood with Multidisciplinary Approach for Sustainable Development”. 

   The two days conference was held at Govt. Degree College (GDC) Doda from 3 August. 

  A reputed panel of very senior level scientists recommended and announced prestigious award to the name of Dr. Jha.

    The award consists a Gold medal/Memento and a certificate. The was given during the valedictory session of the National Seminar to Dr. Jha for his innovative attitude, introduction of new technologies in Doda district of Jammu & Kashmir, his achievements in the fisheries sector and considering his overall scientific contribution.

   He has introduced several new technologies like poly-lining of pond for fisheries & water storage; vegetable based integrated fish farming; ornamental fisheries & aquarium manufacturing as an enterprise, etc., in the district.
