New Delhi, March 18: The Supreme Court asserted on Monday that the State Bank of India (SBI) cannot be selective and must disclose all conceivable details related to electoral bonds, including unique bond numbers linking buyers to recipient political parties.

A five-judge bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud reminded that the apex court’s verdict in the electoral bonds case mandated the bank to reveal all bond details without awaiting further orders on this matter.

“We had instructed the SBI to disclose all details, including electoral bond numbers. The SBI should not be selective in disclosure,” the bench, comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna, B R Gavai, J B Pardiwala, and Manoj Misra, remarked during the hearing.
