DODA, FABRUARY 26:- Rajinder Kumar Digra today assumed the Additional charge of District Information Officer Doda.
The staff members of the District Information Centre Doda warmly welcomed him. After the assumption of charge, the DIO conducted an introductory cum interactive meeting with the employees, reviewing the overall functioning of the department. He received briefings on various sections of the department and urged officials to work collaboratively, focusing on the publicity of government welfare schemes and programs for the benefit of the people.
District Information Officer Doda Rajinder Kumar Digra also a interactive session with media persons in the district. The purpose of the session was to discuss the role of media in promoting transparency.
During the session, the DIO Doda provided information about various government schemes, programs, and initiatives being implemented in the district. He also highlighted the importance of media in disseminating this information to the public and creating awareness about government activities.
The media persons, in turn, shared their feedback with the District Information Officer (DIO) in Doda. The DIO ensured that every possible support would be provided to the media fraternity to improve media management system and real time flow of true information in society regarding all events and activities could be shared with them .”
