Nuh Violence Death Toll Reaches 5, Haryana Govt Suspects Conspiracy

Amidst escalating tensions in Nuh district, Haryana, the violence death toll has tragically reached five following clashes during an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession. The region has been grappling with a volatile situation, prompting the Haryana government to suspect a possible conspiracy behind the unrest. Home guards have lost their lives, and a significant number of individuals have sustained injuries, leaving the community in shock and mourning. The incidents of rioting have also resulted in considerable property damage, leaving a lasting impact on the affected area.

The clash was triggered when a group of young men obstructed the VHP’s ‘Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra’ near Khedla Mod in Nuh. In response, violence erupted as stones were pelted at the procession, leading to confrontations between the two groups. The situation rapidly escalated, culminating in a grave loss of lives and severe injuries.

In an effort to restore peace and order, the Haryana police have registered 11 first information reports (FIRs) and detained 27 individuals believed to be involved in the rioting. The police are conducting thorough investigations, analyzing videos and footage to identify the culprits responsible for the mayhem. Additional paramilitary forces, including 13 companies stationed in Nuh and six more to be deployed soon, have been called in to maintain law and order.

The impact of the violence extended beyond Nuh death toll , spilling over to the adjoining Gurugram district, where a religious building in Sector 57 was set ablaze. Tragically, one person lost their life, and another was injured in the ensuing chaos. The authorities have promptly initiated an investigation into this incident as well.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has expressed his deep concern over the violence and called for restraint and dialogue. He appealed to the public of Nuh to remain calm and united, emphasizing that peaceful resolutions are essential to avoid further escalation. Chief Minister Khattar is set to hold a crucial meeting with Home Minister Anil Vij to assess the situation and devise effective measures to prevent further violence.

As the investigation progresses and the situation unfolds, the government is committed to ensuring that those responsible for the violence are brought to justice. Community leaders, officials, and law enforcement agencies are working collectively to restore calm and provide support to the affected families. Amidst this unfortunate tragedy, the authorities are striving to reestablish peace, harmony, and a sense of security in the region.
