JAMMU, Jul 17: In a resolute effort to combat drug abuse, Jammu police conducted a significant operation under the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ campaign, led by Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh. A staggering 6,727 kilograms of drugs, seized during various operations, were destroyed.
Embracing the nationwide initiative, Jammu witnessed the obliteration of this substantial quantity of illicit substances. The destruction event was attended by officers from the Anti-narcotics Task Force, Narcotics Control Bureau, and local law enforcement.
This decisive action against drug trafficking showcases the steadfast determination of Jammu police in creating a drug-free society. By eliminating these seized drugs, the authorities have taken a major step towards curbing the drug menace and safeguarding the well-being of the community.
