Jammu, Oct 7 — National Chairman of the National Foundation for Journalism and Media (NFJM), Dr. Tahir Rufayee, is scheduled to visit Doda district on October 16 and 17 as part of his outreach and engagement tour across Jammu and Kashmir.
During the two-day visit, Dr. Rufayee will interact with civil society members, hold grievance redressal camps, and review local media and communication activities under NFJM initiatives.
His itinerary includes welcome receptions and visits at several key locations — Batote, Assar, Khellani, Doda town, Pranoo, Bhalla, and Bhaderwah.
The visit aims to strengthen coordination between NFJM and local media representatives, address grievances related to journalism and digital media operations, and promote grassroots participation in ethical and responsible journalism.
Officials from NFJM have confirmed that the Doda and Bhaderwah events will also include interactive sessions with journalists, youth, and public representatives.
He will be accompanied by Prominent Editors, Lawyers and Former Bureaucrats.
