Deputy CM Advocates Innovative Teaching Methods for Nation Building

In a bid to revolutionize the educational landscape and empower the younger generation, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary stressed the importance of broadening educational approaches to connect youth with both moral values and practical life skills. Speaking at the annual day function organized by Birla Open Minds International School in Jammu, Choudhary called for education that goes beyond traditional assessments and emphasizes holistic learning.

“Education should not be confined to textbooks and tests. It is essential to foster a deeper understanding of knowledge that prepares students for real-life challenges,” said Choudhary. He highlighted that integrating moral and practical aspects of life into education is key to building a strong foundation for nation building, enabling youth to contribute meaningfully to society.

The Deputy Chief Minister also advocated for a dynamic and productive teaching ecosystem, one where educators are encouraged to innovate beyond the rigid boundaries of the curriculum. “Teachers should not only be facilitators of knowledge but also mentors who inspire creativity and critical thinking,” he added.

Choudhary’s remarks underscore the need for educational reform that nurtures well-rounded individuals capable of navigating both professional and personal spheres with integrity and skill.
