On the occasion of 7th Naturopathy day GAMC Students Visited SHATAYU YOGA & NATUROPATHY CENTRE, Rajpura Road, Rehari.
Under the Guidance of Respected Principal sir Dr Ashutosh Gupta and as per NCISM norms today students of Government Ayurvedic Medical College Akhnoor Visited Shatayu Naturopathy Center Jammu. During the visit Students got practical knowledge of different Naturopathy procedures like Mud therapy, hydrotherapy etc.
Chairmperson Naturopath Rekha who is having experience of 25years in naturopathy gave a lecture to students about Naturopathy and practically demonstrated hot cold compress, mud bath, eye mud pack and all the Naturopathy procedures. Steam bath was practically demonstrated by Naturopath Mr. Ankush who is handling the male wing and Yoga instructor Ms. Radhica Gupta was also present there. Smt Priya Sethi ji Ex Education Minister, Smt. Sukriti Choudhary Ji (MD. Maharishi Dayanand Hospital) was also present on the occasion and she also motivated students to adopt yoga and Naturopathy in their daily life. The visit was conducted by Dr Abhishek Magotra Associate professor and Dr Sheetal Gupta Assistant professor Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga.
