Akhnoor, Aug 9, 2024: The Government Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital (GAMC & H) Akhnoor observed Charak Jayanti with a series of vibrant activities under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Gupta and Dr. Narinder Sharma, Nodal Officer of the Department of Samhita and Siddhanta.
The celebration began with a formal inauguration, marked by the lighting of the lamp. This was followed by a series of events including Dhanwantary Vandana, a poster presentation, rangoli competition, and a skit titled “Har Ghar Ayurveda”.
Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Associate Professor, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the day’s events. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Anupama Thakur, Assistant Professor. The Department of Samhita and Siddhanta extended its gratitude to the Principal for his support and for the successful completion of the event.
