NEW DELHI, June 19: A Delhi court extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal until July 3 in connection with a money laundering case related to the alleged excise scam. Special Judge Niyay Bindu granted the extension after Kejriwal was presented via video conference following the expiration of his previous custody term.
During the hearing, Kejriwal’s counsel opposed the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) application for extending his judicial custody, arguing that there were no valid grounds for the extension.
