**JAMMU, June 7:** Security Forces Launch Search Operation Near Balaji Temple Outskirts
Security forces initiated a search operation on the outskirts of Jammu city on Friday, focusing on the vast forest belts near Balaji Temple in the Mujeen area.
The operation, led by the special operation group (SoG) and other security personnel, was characterized as a “routine exercise” by a senior police officer. However, sources indicate that the operation was prompted by the detection of suspicious activities in the area.
The heightened security measures come ahead of the annual Amarnath yatra, scheduled to commence on June 29. Security forces are keen on ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims undertaking the sacred pilgrimage.
