New Delhi, June 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to assume office for a third consecutive term, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Following the victory of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the recent Lok Sabha elections, securing a third term, sources have indicated that PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony is slated for June 9 at 6 p.m.
Initially, speculation surrounded a Saturday inauguration, but the exact date remains unconfirmed by official sources.
In a meeting held on Wednesday, leaders of parties within the NDA unanimously elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their leader. Expressing his commitment to national progress, PM Modi stated that the NDA would work towards building a developed India.
“Met our esteemed NDA partners. Our alliance is dedicated to advancing national development and fulfilling regional aspirations. We are dedicated to serving the 1.4 billion people of India and aspire to construct a Developed India,” PM Modi tweeted on Wednesday.
