SHIMLA, May 29 – Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a scathing attack on the BJP Government at the Centre during a rally in Kullu on Wednesday. Accusing the government of harming small and medium businesses, including the tourism sector in Himachal Pradesh, she rallied support for the Congress candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency, Vikramaditya Singh.
In her address, Gandhi alleged that people are dying due to the Covid vaccine and claimed that the BJP had accepted a Rs 52-crore donation from a manufacturer. She promised that if the INDIA bloc comes to power, poor women in the state will receive Rs 10,000 every month, comprising Rs 8,500 as per the Congress manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls and an additional Rs 1,500 pledged by the party’s Government in Himachal Pradesh.
