Bomb Scare Forces Evacuation of 176 Passengers from Varanasi-Bound IndiGo Flight at Delhi Airport

NEW DELHI, May 28: A bomb threat on a Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi led to the evacuation of all 176 passengers on the morning of May 28. Officials reported that the alarm was raised after a note was discovered in the aircraft’s lavatory.

The pilot found a piece of paper with the message “bomb blast @ 30 minutes” and immediately informed the control room.

In response, the plane was moved to an isolated area, and security agencies conducted a thorough search. Anti-sabotage checks were carried out, and as of now, nothing suspicious has been found.

All passengers were safely deboarded, and the situation is under control. The investigation continues to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and crew.
