PM Modi Scheduled to Speak at Election Rallies in Odisha on May 6

Bhubaneswar, May 4 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President J P Nadda are set to visit Odisha in the coming days to campaign for the concurrent Lok Sabha and assembly elections.

Modi is scheduled to address two political rallies in the Berhampur and Nabarangpur Lok Sabha constituencies on Monday, as confirmed by a party official.

Additionally, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will embark on a two-day visit to the state starting Saturday, during which he plans to engage with intellectuals and journalists.

Meanwhile, Nadda, who previously addressed a rally in Berhampur on April 28, will return to Odisha on Sunday to strategize for the elections, stated BJP state unit vice-president Golak Mohapatra.

“The BJP chief will participate in party activities in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The EAM’s visit to Odisha will encompass various events in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur,” Mohapatra added.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had kickstarted the BJP’s election campaign in Odisha on April 25 from Sonepur.

Odisha is gearing up for simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly elections, scheduled to be held in four phases starting from May 13.
