Ahmedabad, Apr 15 – Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed confidence on Monday that the BJP’s Lok Sabha poll manifesto, which charts a roadmap for achieving a developed India by 2047, will garner support from the people of Gujarat, leading to victory in all 26 seats in the state.
Addressing the media regarding the release of the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Patel emphasized the party’s commitment to delivering tangible development instead of making empty promises.
Patel attributed the trust of Gujarat’s 6.5 crore people in the BJP over the past two-and-a-half decades to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, which has focused on development and public welfare.
He highlighted Modi’s consistent efforts towards good governance, which have earned him widespread support both in Gujarat and across the nation, resulting in the BJP winning all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the previous two parliamentary polls.
PM Modi recently released the BJP’s Lok Sabha poll manifesto, emphasizing his vision for ‘Viksit Bharat’ and urging voters to grant his party another mandate to shape India’s destiny for the next millennium.
The manifesto, termed ‘Sankalp Patra’, outlines various initiatives, including the implementation of the ‘one nation, one poll’ concept, the expansion of 5G networks, and the organization of Ramayan festivals worldwide.
Patel underscored that the ‘Sankalp Patra’ provides a comprehensive roadmap to realize the vision of a developed India by 2047. He commended the Modi government’s dedication to development, citing significant improvements in poverty alleviation and India’s economic stature.
Furthermore, Patel reiterated the BJP’s commitment to putting the nation’s interests first, highlighting the successful execution of initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ under Modi’s leadership.
State BJP chief CR Paatil echoed Patel’s sentiments, praising PM Modi’s efforts in ensuring women’s safety and lifting millions out of poverty. Paatil emphasized the importance of the BJP’s manifesto, which addresses key issues affecting various segments of society.
He also lauded Modi’s strong leadership in safeguarding the country from terrorism, contrasting the current security situation with the challenges faced during previous administrations.
Overall, Patel and Paatil expressed confidence in the BJP’s electoral prospects in Gujarat, buoyed by the party’s track record of delivering on its promises and advancing the nation’s development agenda.
