Bhaderwah, March 28: People from all walks of life gathered in Seri Bazar Bhaderwah to register their resentment over the death of a lady, who was hit by a biker yesterday.
It is notable that yesterday, in a hit and run case a biker hited an elderly lady near ICICI Bank Bhaderwah on Chobia Link Road. The lady was shifted to SDH Bhaderwah, where from she was further shifted to GMC Doda, but she succumbed to her injuries today afternoon while on way to GMC Jammu.

The deceased has been identified as Bimla Dogra W/O Joginder Pal Dogra R/O Ganpat Bazaar Bhaderwah.
After the news of her death spread, People of Bhaderwah from all sections of the society came together to register their protest against stunt bikers and also protest against callous attitude of traffic police for not taking any action against the rash driving in Bhaderwah.

President Sanatan Dharam Sabha Bhaderwah Vrinder Razdan, Naseer Mehboob YAC President, Neeraj Manhas BJP leader, senior citizens, youths, shopkeepers and others participated in the protest and demanded stern action against the involved person.
When contacted ASP Bhaderwah Vinod Sharma about the incident, he informed that the after identification, the accused person has been arrested and the bike was also seized by the team.
“No one is above the law, and we will try to submit challan of the case in the court of law at the earliest,” he added, saying that a special drive is also going to nab the stunt bikers in and around Bhadarwah, who creates nuisance and threat to their life and others as well.
