Srinagar : Srinagar Police Crack Burglary Case in 12 Hours, Arrest Three Suspects and Retrieve Stolen Property in Baramulla District, Jammu and Kashmir .
In a swift operation on Wednesday, Srinagar police successfully resolved a burglary case within 12 hours of its occurrence, leading to the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of stolen goods in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir.
The investigation commenced after Abdul Aziz Bhat, known as Bhat Traders, lodged a written complaint with the Police Shree. Bhat, a resident of Sheeri, alleged that his salesman Zubair Ahmad Mir, residing in Gantamulla Bala, had pilfered hardware, sanitary items, and other goods from his shop, totaling a value of 6 lakh rupees.
Subsequently, the Police Station Sheeri registered Case FIR No. 11/2024 under the relevant legal provisions and launched an inquiry. A specialized team of officers and officials was formed to delve into the matter.
Through meticulous examination and analysis, CCTV footage unveiled the complicity of Mir and his two accomplices in the crime. The associates were identified as Wali Mohd Bhat from Bimar Boniyar and Zubair Ahmad Lone from Budmulla Sheeri. They were promptly apprehended, and stolen property worth 5 lakh rupees was seized from their possession.
The police have assured ongoing investigations, anticipating further recoveries in due course.
