Rahul Gandhi: INDIA Bloc to Unlock Job Opportunities for Youth

NEW DELHI, Mar 4: Rahul Gandhi, a prominent figure in the Congress party, criticized the Narendra Modi government on Monday, accusing it of neglecting to fill vacant positions and emphasizing the INDIA bloc’s commitment to unlocking job opportunities for the youth.

Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Modi’s administration lacks the intention to address unemployment issues. In a Hindi post on X, Gandhi stated, “The youth of the country should take note! Narendra Modi does not intend to generate employment. Not only has he failed to create new positions, but he also overlooks the existing vacancies in the central government.”

Referring to data presented by the central government in Parliament, Gandhi highlighted the substantial number of vacant positions across various departments. He pointed out that crucial departments like railways, home ministry, and defence ministry have significant vacancies.

Gandhi posed questions to the central government regarding the high vacancy rates in major departments and questioned the reasons behind the substantial number of unfilled positions, especially in the Prime Minister’s office.

Accusing the BJP government of favoring a contract-based employment system over permanent jobs, Gandhi criticized the lack of job security and respect in such arrangements.

Asserting that vacant positions rightfully belong to the youth of the country, Gandhi stated, “INDIA’s resolve is to open the closed doors of job opportunities for the youth.” He expressed confidence that the youth will witness a new dawn of employment opportunities, breaking the darkness of unemployment.
