Srinagar, Mar 01: Authorities on Friday issued fresh avalanche warning for nine districts of Jammu and Kashmir, and advised people to take precautions and avoid venturing in avalanche prone areas.
“Avalanche with medium danger level is likely to occur above 2200 metres above sea level over Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Baramulla, Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Reasi districts in next 24 hours,” J&K Disaster Management Authority in a fresh advisory said.
They advised people living in these areas to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas till further orders.
