SAMBHAL (UP), Feb 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked on Monday that the wheels of time have turned as the nation not only repatriates ancient idols from abroad but also attracts unprecedented foreign investment. Speaking at a gathering after laying the foundation stone of the Shri Kalki Dham temple in Uttar Pradesh, he emphasized the simultaneous development of pilgrimage sites and the implementation of advanced infrastructure in cities.
The event drew seers and religious leaders from across the country, and the Prime Minister highlighted the significant progress. “Our ancient idols are being brought back from abroad, and we are witnessing record foreign investment – a testament to the evolving cycle of time,” he stated, underscoring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s encouragement to take pride in the country’s identity.
Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Kalki Dham Peethadheeshwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam, Modi also unveiled a model of the Shri Kalki Dham temple. The construction of the temple is spearheaded by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, with Krishnam serving as its chairman.
