New Delhi, Jan 26: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) officially unveiled its campaign song for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections on Thursday. The song, with lyrics penned by BJP president JP Nadda, carries a powerful message: “Sapne Nahi Haqeeqat Bunte Hai, Tabhi Toh Sab Modi Ko Chunte Hain” (Not dreams, but (we) weave reality, That’s why everyone chooses Modi).
The lyrics of the campaign song reflect on India’s historical challenges, describing the nation as being in a “deplorable situation” for years with slow progress. It acknowledges the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (NaMo), stating that he kept his promises, turning the dream of a developed country into reality.
The song emphasizes Modi’s dedication to the nation, depicting him as one who considers Bharat as his mother and the countrymen as ‘Vidhata’ (God). It highlights Modi’s commitment to work over personal credit, making him a leader whom everyone listens to. The lyrics also acknowledge the emergence of Indian women as leaders and instill fear among corrupt individuals.
The release of the campaign song precedes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official launch of the BJP’s campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The kick-off event is scheduled as a rally in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The BJP, focusing on making strategic gains in western Uttar Pradesh, where it faced defeats in six constituencies in the 2019 elections, anticipates significant support and turnout for the rally.
As PM Modi gears up for the 2024 election campaign, the theme song aims to resonate with voters, emphasizing Modi’s leadership qualities, dedication to the nation, and commitment to turning dreams into reality.
