NEW DELHI, Jan 9: Rajiv Mani, an Indian Legal Service (ILS) officer currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Legal Affairs under the Ministry of Law and Justice, has been appointed as Secretary of the Legislative Department. The Union Personnel Ministry order indicates that this appointment is for a period of two years.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Mani’s appointment to the position of Secretary in the Legislative Department, effective from the date he assumes charge, as per the order.
In addition, Manoj Kumar, Founder and Managing Partner of New Delhi-based Hammurabi & Solomon Partners, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Legislative Department on a contract basis for a duration of two years, according to the same order.
