New Delhi, Jan 6: The Congress party, led by Rahul Gandhi, unveiled the logo and slogan for the upcoming ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.’ The unveiling event, held at the All India Congress Committee headquarters in Delhi, was attended by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Jairam Ramesh (general secretary in-charge communications), and KC Venugopal (General Secretary).
The Yatra’s slogan is “Nyay ka haq milne tak” (Until the right to justice is achieved). Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge stated, “Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, we are starting ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ from January 14. ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is our strong step towards providing economic, social, and political justice to the country’s people.”
Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting Manipur, which has experienced ethnic violence. He emphasized that the Yatra aims to connect with the people and convey the message that there is no alternative. Kharge also highlighted the challenges faced by Congress in raising issues in Parliament.
Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is scheduled to commence from Imphal on January 14, covering a distance of 6,713 kilometers, traversing 100 Lok Sabha constituencies, 337 assembly segments, and spanning 110 districts. The march is set to conclude in Mumbai on March 20 or 21.
