Bhaderwah: To remember and pay tributes to martyrs of 1971 War, Ex-servicemen Leauge Doda along with Army’s Rashtriya Riffles based at Bhadarwah observed ‘Vijay Diwas’ in Bhaderwah and took out a rally on Saturday.
Ex-servicemen League Doda led by its District President Raj Singh Charak and joined by Army, Students of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School Bhaderwah and local residents to pay tributes to the Martyrs took out a rally in Bhaderwah town.
After rally, they assembled in Park of historic Seri Bazaar Bhaderwah and paid rich tributes to martyrs of 1971 War, followed by special floral tributes were also paid.
Participants paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of India’s armed forces during the 1971 war on the occasion of ‘Vijay Diwas’ celebration.
A floral wreaths were laid as a mark of respect for their supreme sacrifice in the service to the country and for safeguarding integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
District President Ex-servicemen League Doda Raj Singh Charak said that martyrs shall always remain alive in heart of every countrymen and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
Participating students also expressed their feelings after being a part of Vijay diwas.
Army officers, SHO Bhaderwah Amrit Katoch, Ramneek Manhas, Ex Hav Nirmal Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
