Jammu : 8th Blood Donation Camp was organised by Trikuta Group of Colleges in memory of LateDr. Roop Lal Sharma, founder Chairman of Trust for Higher Education and Research on hisBirthAnniversary. The Blood Donation camp was inaugurated by Mr. Kavinder Gupta (Ex Dy CM) Senior BJPleader of UT of J&K. He is well recognised figure in our society. He was elected as Mayor of The City of Jammu for a record of three consecutive terms, also the speaker of J&Kassembly.
108 Volunteers from different colleges, including teaching and non-teaching staff, students, PG Scholars and Internees participated in the camp. Mrs Suman Sharma, Chairperson, Shri Sain Charitable Trust on the occasion called uponthemasses to come voluntarily for this noble cause and she desired for conducting suchcampsin near future also. She also appreciated the students and the staff members of the colleges under the Trust for their participation.
Managing Directors Mr Ritesh Sharma and Mr Ravish Sharma, Principal of different collegesunder the Trust, CEO’s Dr. Nitin Mahajan, Mrs Japna Sharma and Mrs Jasudha Sharmawerealso presented on the occasion. Shri Kavinder Gupta, Ex Deputy CM J&K was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Blood Donation Camp was organised in Collaboration with Jammu Blood Centre, Greater Kailash, Blood Bank- BEE ENN General Hospital Jammu, Jammu Blood DonorsandWelfare Society(NGO).
