BSF Officer Reports Zero Infiltration Along International Border in Jammu Over the Past Year

Jammu , December 5 : Inspector General D K Boora of the Border Security Force (BSF) confirmed the successful maintenance of peace along the International Border (IB) in the Jammu frontier. He stated that no infiltration was reported along the border with Pakistan in the past year. He highlighted successful operations against attempted infiltrations and thwarting Pakistani smugglers. The BSF officer emphasized the decline in drone activities along the IB, crediting the dismantling of the smuggling network. Boora addressed recent ceasefire violations, stating that the BSF responded with a “befitting reply” and inflicted heavy losses on Pakistan. He mentioned challenges faced in 2023, including drone activities, unprovoked firing, and smuggling attempts, praising the BSF-Jammu for successfully handling them.
