NSS unit of Trikuta Degree College Nardani Raipur organised an Awareness rally and a Symposium on the eve of World AIDS day. The rally drew the attention of the masses towards the dreadful results of HIV infection causing AIDS and destroying the immunity system of a person. People were made aware of the fact that the disease is incurable but can be stopped by taking preventive measures. The students were carrying placards conveying different messages to aware people about dreaded disease. They were also raising slogans to attract people towards the burning issue of the disease.
The rally was flagged off by the Principal Mrs Sunita Magotra, Trikuta Degree College. She also addressed the students urging them to spread awareness among the masses against AIDS and urged upon them not to indulge in activities which can infect one with HIV virus.All the activities were conducted under the supervision of NSS programme officer Ritika Sharma and the entire staff of Trikuta Degree college.
