Interactive Session ‘LG’s Mulaqaat’: LG Sinha Engages with Citizens, Resolves Grievances from JK-IGRAMS

JAMMU, Nov 30: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha conducted a virtual interaction with citizens during “LG’s Mulaqaat,” a live public grievance hearing held at the Civil Secretariat. During the session, the Lt Governor addressed complaints filed on JK-IGRAMS and directed prompt resolution of grievances, emphasizing the importance of speedy program execution for the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir.

Highlighting the progress in various sectors, the Lt Governor expressed determination to transform the limitless potential of the Union Territory into reality during Amrit Kaal, aiming to shape the destiny of J&K positively.

In response to specific grievances, the Lt Governor directed the Deputy Commissioner Budgam to address the poor condition of a road in Attina, Budgam. The Additional Chief Secretary of the Jal Shakti Department assured that the water supply project in the Chanderseer Tilgam to Wanigam Payeen area would be completed by the end of December.

For a blocked drain issue near Jaganath Temple, the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur received instructions to ensure clearance within 10 days. Additionally, the Lt Governor addressed a complaint related to the issuance of a BPL Ration Card in favor of Payar Singh of Ganote Chakka Bhartund, District Ramban.

The proceedings were conducted by Ms Rehana Batul, Secretary, Public Grievances, and attended by Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, Additional Chief Secretary R K Goyal, DGP R.R Swain, Administrative Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, SSPs, HoDs, and other senior officers, both in person and through virtual mode.
