Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, November 27 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook a visit to the renowned Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, where he offered prayers on Monday. Communicating through social media, PM Modi stated, “At the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, prayed for the good health, well-being, and prosperity of 140 crore Indians.”
PM Modi’s arrival in Tirupati was marked by a warm welcome from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor S Abdul Nazeer at the Renigunta airport on Sunday, as posted by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on social media.
Later in the day, PM Modi was scheduled to visit Hyderabad, where he would participate in a road show in the capital city of Telangana. The Hyderabad police had implemented various restrictions and diversions at several locations in the city in anticipation of PM Modi’s visit and the BJP’s electoral road show.
All major political parties in the state, including Congress, BJP, and BRS, intensified their campaign efforts ahead of the November 30 polls, with the last date of campaigning set for Tuesday.
Hyderabad witnessed imposed restrictions starting at 1 pm and lasting until 10 pm, ensuring security measures during the high-profile visit.
Looking ahead, the Prime Minister is set to travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 30 to December 1 to attend the World Climate Action Summit. During this visit, PM Modi plans to engage in bilateral meetings with leaders participating in the summit, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The World Climate Action Summit serves as the high-level segment of the 28th Conference of Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Notably, COP28 is scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 12, under the Presidency of the UAE, with PM Modi attending at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
