Hyderabad : Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a thorough inspection of the passing-out parade for the 75th batch of Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Hyderabad, Telangana, on Friday.
Following the ceremonial march, the Home Minister is scheduled to deliver an address to the probationers.
During a prior press conference on Wednesday, Academy director Amit Garg provided details that a total of 175 officer trainees were participating in the parade. This group consisted of 155 IPS officer trainees and 20 foreign officer trainees.
Among the IPS officer trainees, 32 were women, while the foreign officer trainees included representatives from Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Mauritius police, totaling six, five, five, and four individuals, respectively.
