New Delhi : BSP supremo Mayawati is set to begin her party’s election campaign from November 6, with plans to hold two rallies daily in the poll-bound states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. The campaign will last for 11 days, with four days allocated to Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, and two days each for Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
The party has scheduled rallies on November 6, 7, 8, and 14 in Madhya Pradesh and on November 17, 18, 19, and 20 in Rajasthan. In Chhattisgarh, Mayawati will address rallies on November 9, and in Telangana, the rallies are planned for November 22 and 23. These rallies will be organized in regions considered strongholds of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). State unit presidents have been instructed to initiate preparations by mobilizing party workers and supporters.
Mayawati’s public meetings in Madhya Pradesh are planned in Datia, Niwari, Chattarapur, Damoh, Satna, Rewa, Morena, and Bhind. The BSP is forming an alliance with the Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, while the party is going solo in Rajasthan and Telangana.
In the 2018 assembly elections, the BSP secured 5.01% of the votes and won two seats in Madhya Pradesh, while in Rajasthan, it polled 4.03% of the votes and secured victory on six seats. In Chhattisgarh, the party received 3.9% of the votes and won two seats.
