Chandigarh, Oct 14 : Punjab Police has announced the dismantling of a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module following the apprehension of two individuals hailing from Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, conducted by the State Special Operation Cell-Amritsar police in collaboration with a central agency, resulted in the seizure of two improvised explosive devices, two hand grenades, a pistol, two magazines, 24 cartridges, a timer switch, eight detonators, and four batteries from the suspects. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav described these arrests as a “major blow to a terror module attempting to disrupt peace in Punjab.”
