DC Doda and SSP Doda Grace the occasion

Doda : Under the able guidance of DC Doda Vishesh Pal Mahajan, CMO Doda Dr. Hamid Zargar and supervision of DIO Doda Dr Varsha Sharma, a friendly cricket match between Nikshay Mitras of the Health Department and District Administration took place at the Sports Stadium Doda.
The event was organised by Chanderkant Shan DM & EO Doda, PMS Surinder Bijyal and Ashima DAM Doda.
It is notable to mention here that the match was played between newly registered Nikshay Mitras, who also adopted TB patients and distributed Nikshay Poshan Baskets among them.
The primary objective of this event was to raise awareness about Tuberculosis (TB) as part of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP).
The esteemed presence of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, as the chief guest, and the Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Abdul Qayoom as the guest of honor added significance to the occasion.
Notably, various officers and officials from both the health department and other departments actively participated in the match.
The event revolved around the slogan “TB Harega Desh Jeetega, TB Mukt Bharat” (TB will lose, India will win), reinforcing the critical need to eliminate TB from the nation and strive towards a TB-free India.
This friendly cricket match not only provided an avenue for the Health Department and District Administration to engage in spirited competition but also served as a platform to educate the public on the impact of TB on individuals and communities. Overall, this successful event played a crucial role in raising awareness about TB and fostering collaboration among different departments in Doda.
Meanwhile, DC Doda and SSP Doda also distributed certificates among the Nikshay Mitras.
