Bhaderwah: With an to boost tourism prospects through showcasing local culture and traditions and to provide a platform to local artists where they can showcase their talent, Indian Army in collaboration with PAUSE tribe and K Rajindra Foundation organised Mushaira cum Musical event ‘Jashan-e-Chenab at Bhaderwah.
On the occasion ADC Bhaderwah Dilmir Chowdhary was the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the event.
DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh, DDC Councilor Thakur Yudhvir, BDC Chairman Omi Chand and others were also present on the occasion.
The event in which artists from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab participated was aimed to boost tourism in the area and to divert the energy of youths towards healthy environment by involving them in literary and cultural activities, so that they can not fall prey to increasing Drug abuse.
Educationist and poet Sajid Sarmadi and Reenuka conducted the proceedings of the event.
Locals appreciated the organisers for a wonderful evening and hoped that such events will be organized in future as well.
