In a significant step towards enhancing anti-corruption efforts, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone of the new Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Headquarters in Sidhra, Jammu. The ceremony was marked by a sense of dedication and determination to strengthen the fight against corruption in the region.
During the event, LG Sinha extended his congratulations to the officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau for this milestone achievement. He emphasized that the establishment of the new headquarters reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to effectively combat corruption, ultimately contributing to the vision of a corruption-free Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing the gathered officials and dignitaries, the Lt Governor stressed the importance of maintaining determination and unwavering commitment to ensure zero tolerance against corruption. He highlighted the pivotal role that the Anti-Corruption Bureau plays in upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure of the ACB headquarters is designed to facilitate the smooth functioning of the bureau. The multi-storeyed building, encompassing six floors including dedicated areas for parking, central police station, prosecution staff, and allied offices, aims to provide an ideal environment for the bureau’s operations. This step is expected to enable more efficient and streamlined operations, ensuring that anti-corruption efforts are carried out with utmost effectiveness.
