J&K, Aug 10 : Grenade Attack in J&K’s Anantnag District Leaves Three Injured, Including Army Personnel
In an incident on Thursday, three individuals, including a soldier from the Army, sustained injuries in a grenade attack that took place in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to official sources, security forces had initiated a cordon and search operation in Athlan Gadole village, situated in the Kokernag area of Anantnag district. During this operation, militants in hiding reportedly launched a grenade towards the security personnel.
The explosion resulted in injuries to three individuals, consisting of two civilians and one soldier from the army. The wounded have been promptly transported to a hospital, where medical professionals have indicated that their condition remains stable.
