JAMMU, JULY 27: On the solemn occasion of the 24th Kargil Vijay Diwas, JK Public School Kunjwani paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave martyrs who valiantly sacrificed their lives for the motherland on July 26, 1999. The school organized a special assembly filled with reverence and patriotism, aiming to instill in its students a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by our Kargil heroes.
The event commenced with a soul-stirring morning prayer, setting the tone for the day of remembrance. The school’s young voices united in harmony as they sang the School Song, celebrating the spirit of unity and resilience.
Nimish, a student from Class IX, delivered an impassioned speech that highlighted the indomitable courage and selflessness displayed by the Kargil heroes. The students of the Middle Wing followed suit, captivating the audience with a touching group song, “Ae Watan, Ae Watan,” echoing the sentiments of pride and patriotism.
The youngest members of the school, the toddlers, showcased their talent through a mesmerizing dance performance on the iconic song, “Sandese Aate Hain.” The heartfelt tribute continued as Pranav Sharma, a talented student from Class XI, rendered a soulful song, evoking emotions of gratitude and respect for the fallen heroes.
Tejasvini, a bright student from Class VIII, took the stage to enlighten everyone about the historical significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas. With eloquence, she extolled the valor of those who had laid down their lives, reminding everyone present that the nation owes an eternal debt to these brave souls.
The Primary Wing students added their own vibrant touch to the commemoration with a foot-tapping dance performance, symbolizing the unwavering spirit of unity and determination.
In a heartfelt gesture, the Director of JK Educational Society, Shashi Choudhary, paid homage to the Kargil warriors. Her words echoed the sentiments of the entire nation as she remembered the supreme sacrifices made by Captain Vikram Batra, Captain Saurabh Kalia, Captain Manoj Pandey, and many others who fearlessly fought for the country.
The special assembly concluded with the entire gathering standing united and singing the National Anthem, symbolizing the strength and unity of the nation.
