Bhadarwah, July 26:- To commemorate the 24th anniversary of Kargil Diwas, Ex-Servicemen league Doda took out rally in Bhadarwah on Wednesday and also involved youths to inculcate sense of belonging and patriotism among them.

The day is observed on July 26 to mark the defence forces’ victory against the Pakistani army in the 1999 Kargil war.
In a tribute to the valour of fallen soldiers during the war, Ex-Servicemen league Doda led by District President Doda Raj Singh organised the Kargil Vijay Diwas Rally at Bhadarwah, in which beside league members, Police, CRPF, School Students and locals participated.
The Kargil vijay diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm on wednesday. Apart from the Rally, Floral tributes were also paid to Martyrs.

On the SP Bhadarwah Vinod Sharma was cheif guest, who along with Raj Singh unfurl the Tri Color at Seri Bazaar Park Bhadarwah.
While speaking President Ex-Servicemen league Doda Raj Singh said that by involving the students in this event, we want to inculcate the sense of patriotism among the young generation by letting them know about the sacrifices made by the soldiers of Indian Army during the 1999 Kargil war.

In his message to the participating students, the SP Bhadarwah Vinod Sharma urged them to rededicate themselves to the Nation and excel in all future endeavors.
He said that this day is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our soldiers towards flushing out infiltrators from our sacred Motherland.
All participants paid homage to the gallant martyrs who made supreme sacrifice in the defence of heights in the Kargil Sector.
