MVD organises awareness camp on Nasha Mukt Bharat in Bhadarwah

Bhadarwah, July 13: To sensitize driving license seekers about ill effects of drug abuse, Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Doda organized an awareness programme on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan at Bhadarwah on Thursday.

The Programme was organized by MVD Doda led by ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta in which license seekers, drivers and locals of the area participated at DL trail venue new Bus Stand Kotli Bhadarwah.

Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta emphasized on the social and moral responsibility in preventing drug abuse. “This indicates the understanding that tackling drug abuse is not just a legal or enforcement issue but also a societal concern that requires active participation from everyone,” he said.

ARTO underscored the importance of creating awareness and providing education on drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

“Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (Drug Free India Campaign) , we imparted drug awareness to new Driving License seekers before trials at New Bus Stand Kotli Bhadarwah in which applicants were sensitized about drug abuse,” ARTO added.

However, he emphasized that true change can only be achieved through the cooperation and coordination of the general public.
