Chandigarh, July 8: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has requested industrialists to provide their suggestions to create a business-friendly environment in the state. The CM has released a WhatsApp number, 8194891948, and an email ID, punjabconsultation@gmail.com, to solicit feedback from industrialists.
In a statement, the CM emphasized that the Punjab government is the only one in the country that formulates policies based on the advice of stakeholders. He cited examples such as seeking public input for the implementation of schemes like free power, Aam Aadmi Clinics, and canal water distribution.
Mann highlighted the positive outcomes resulting from this approach, including around 90 percent of the population receiving zero electricity bills, approximately 3.5 million people availing free treatment at Aam Aadmi Clinics, and canal water reaching villages at the tail end of the state after 40 years.
To accelerate industrial growth and provide maximum employment opportunities for the state’s youth, the CM stated that the government is focused on making Punjab a hub of industrial development. The state government aims to attract new industrial projects while creating a business-friendly atmosphere for existing industrial units to expand their operations within Punjab.
The CM urged industrialists to share their perspectives on industry promotion through the provided WhatsApp number and email ID. He emphasized that these valuable suggestions will assist the state government in formulating policies to boost industrial growth in Punjab. Mann reiterated the government’s commitment to establishing Punjab as a leading state in industrial development.
