Bhadarwah, June 27: In a tragic road accident, Five died on the spot while 12 others got injured after Cab they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into gorge at Guldanda area of Bhadarwah on Tuesday afternoon.
BMO Bhadarwah Mohd Ashraf confirmed the news and said that we have received total 17 persons, out of which 5 were found brought dead while 12 are injured.
Police, Ababeel NGO volunteers, locals immediately rushed to the spot and shifted all 17 persons to SDH Bhadarwah, where 5 were declared as brought dead
DC Doda Vishesh Pal Mahajan along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, ADC Bhadarwah Dil Mir Choudhary, SP Bhadarwah Vinod Kumar and CMO Doda Dr Hameed Zarger reached SDH Bhadarwah.
DC Doda Vishesh Pal Mahajan while speaking to reporters said that we have lost 5 precious lives in a tragic road accident, while 12 others are injured.
“Two critically injured persons are being airlifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment,” DC added.
The injured have been identified as Irshad Ahmed 39 s/o Abdul ahad wani r/o Bhasath udhyan pur Doda, Naresh Kumar 22 s/o madan lal r/o khilor teh bani, Mohd Abdullah 40 s/o mohd Naik r/o gundana Doda, Sadiq Ali 24 s/o farooq ahmed r/o gundana Doda, Bilala ahmed 24 s/o Ghulam Rasool butt r/o gundana Doda, Mohd Shafi butt 24 s/o Abdul Aziz butt r/o gundana Doda, Tariq Irfan 27 s/o Farooq Ahmed r/o Nalthi bhaderwah, Rafiq Ahmed 28 s/o Abdul Ahmed r/o gundana Doda, Nadeem Ahmed 27 s/o Abdul Rashid Malik r/o udhyan pur DODA, Nazir Ahmed 35 s/o r/o Doda and Riaz Ahmed 24 s/o Manzoor Ahmed r/o gundana Doda.
The deceased have been identified as Ghulam natri atti s/o mohd atto r/o ludna Doda Vinod Kumar s/o lt mehar Chand manhas r/o Bhaderwah, Firdous ahmed s/o Ghulam Ahmed Naik r/o chapnadi banihal, barkatullah hajam s/o Ghulam hajam r/o ghat Doda and Sher Chand s/o bahlia r/o Basholi.
DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal and Vice-Chairperson Doda Sangeeta Bhagat expressed their grief over the loss of 5 precious lives in a tragic road accident at Guldanda.
They also prayed for eternal peace for departed souls of deceased persons and early recovery to injured persons.
