Kashmir, June 16 : In a successful operation, the Indian Army intercepted and eliminated five heavily armed Pakistani terrorists attempting to infiltrate the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. The encounter ensued in the Jumagund area, where joint forces of the Army and Police were conducting a search operation based on specific information provided by Kupwara Police. The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps confirmed the elimination of the terrorists, with war-like stores recovered, and the operation ongoing. Further details are yet to be revealed.
