Immediately issue exam calendar and take all pending exams without involving Aptech: JKSSB Aspirants

Stalling all recruitments instead of taking action on culprits is harassment to aspirants by JKUT administration.

Jammu, 12th June: JKSSB Aspirants today held a press conference at Press Club Jammu demanding exam calendar and early examinations without involving the Aptech company. The Press conference was addressed by Vinkal Sharma, Atul Sudan and others who levelled serious allegations over JKUT administration of harassing the youth of JKUT who demanded free and fair recruitments. They allege that only two papers i.e., JE and JKPSI are pending in the court but JKSSB and JKUT administration has stalled all the pending exams and have even not issued any new advertisements for the vacancies lying pending with JKSSB. They termed that this rigid attitude of the government is making lakhs of youth of Jammu Kashmir depressed and unemployed.

Addressing the media persons Vinkal Sharma said that aspirants had applied for various exams previously conducted by JKSSB through a third party company in which there were gross irregularities. Due to these irregularities GAD had cancelled the exam through Letter No.GAD-MTGORBIV135/2022-09-GAD-(Part-1) dated 31.08.2022, Letter No. GAD-MTGORBIV 135/2022- 09-GAD dated 21-07-2022 and Letter No. GAD-MTGORBIV/135/2022-09-GAD-(Part-I) dated 31.08.2022 for FAA, JKPSI and Junior Engineer Jal Shakti department which were sent to JKSSB and later notified in the official website of JKSSB. Later CBI had also conducted raids in various places and registered FIR against some individuals. Then JKSSB took a re-exam with another company namely Aptech. Aptech which had taken various exams for different departments and boards across the nation but most of the places either had paper leak episodes or their staff had been involved in paper scams. High court had also blacklisted this company for a particular time and as per official record a case has been also going on against them in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High court. Due to all these activities JKSSB has stopped the recruitment process which is creating confusion, anxiety and depression among aspirants specially those who are near to over age.

Aspirants alleged that instead of taking action on those involved in corruption in recruitments and in favouring blacklisted companies the JKSSB is making the aspirants suffer at each and every end by stalling the recruitment process. They allege that corruption in recruitments is still not stopped and they are giving inputs regarding some of such cases whose results have been released recently. They allege that the trend of going outside Jammu Kashmir has still not stopped and they are going to give all such information and inputs to investigation agencies and government for its inquiry and action.

Aspirants addressing further demanded that JKSSB should publish exam calendar for upcoming exams as soon as possible as pending exams had nothing to do with the case which is pending in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High court and since the Aptech is a tainted company as per their previous records. JKSSB aspirants have lost faith in this particular company. We are requesting the board to take exam without this particular company. Further they said that UT of Jammu and Kashmir and JKSSB both have full-fledged government facilities and machinery along with government officials, teachers etc. JKSSB board should conduct further exams themselves without any outsourced third-party company. They said that CBT exams across the country are going through exam leaks and compromised systems episodes. Many reputed departments and agencies like CBSE are again going back to the OMR method of     taking exams. We are requesting the board to conduct further examinations in OMR mode. They said the government should immediately conduct further examinations smoothly without wasting precious time of JKSSB aspirants of UT of Jammu and Kashmir otherwise a mass movement will be started once again within a week.
