Akhnoor, June 05 : Under the Guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Sudan Sharma, Nodal officer Dr Narinder Sharma, Administrative Officer Mrs. Seema Rani, today Asana Competition was today organised by Department of Swasthavritta and yoga Government Ayurvedic Medical college Akhnoor.
The event was organised to increase awareness among students regarding upcoming International Day of Yoga . Department is already conducting many Yoga Awareness camp and Awareness Activities for students and common people to aware them about Ayurveda so that they can adopt yoga as a part of their life to get healthy life.
Dr. Abhishek Magotra, Associate Professor, Dr. Sheetal Gupta, Assistant Professor and Mrs Archna Sharma Yoga teacher Swasthavritta and Yoga, Department, Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College Akhnoor conducted the event.
Students performed Chakrasana, usthrasan ,vrikshasan, Dhanurasan and Surya Namaskar during the event.
